Ayeyarwaddy Dolphin Watching
Ayeyarwaddy Dolphin are fresh water mammal and seen in the river ,large lake ,estuaries and coastal areas of Southeast Asia, especially in three main rivers : the Ayeyarwaddy River at Myanmar, the Mekong River and the Mahakam (Indonesian Borneo).Most of these Ayeyarwaddy Dolphin have about 6 inches short beak with bulging forehead and and grey back body. According to IUCN list, it is an endangered species and there are the most threatened dolphin in the world.

In Myanmar, they are found in the Ayeyarwaddy River ,especially between Mandalay and Mingun and also the Mein Ma Hla Island.There are only about 70 number of Dolphin in Myanmar according to 2007 record of WCS Myanmar Program.
